针对某型号激冷铸铁凸轮轴,设计了壳型铸造工艺.观察铸件厚大部位的金相组织。发现其基体显微组织和石墨形态合格,但存在缩孔、缩松缺陷。为消除缺陷,使用View—Cast软件模拟原始铸造工艺方案,分析铸件缺陷产生的原因,进而使用数值模拟方法改进铸造工艺。结果表明:通过增大冒口尺寸和在厚大部位加装冷铁,可有效消除缩孔、缩松铸造缺陷。
The shell casting process was designed for a certain type chilled cast iron camshaft, the microstructure of the wall thickness of it was examined, and it's microstructure of matrix and graphite morphology were qualified except for existing shrinkage cavity and porosity. In order to eliminate these defects, View Cast software was used to simulate the original casting process scheme, analyse the reason for the defects, and optimize the casting process of the chilled iron camshaft. Results indicate that shrinkage cavity and porosity can be effectively dispelled by raising the diameter of riser and placing chills at the wall thickness.
