Analyzing the development tendency of current transport network, then based on the comparison between T-MPLS and PBT as the main techniques in the packet transport network （PTN）, the standard and framework of T-MPLS is analyzed, and the key techniques are extracted especially in the T-MPLS PTN, finally the existing problems and development appliance of T-MPLS are described and the T-MPLS technique is indicated to be the primary choice of PTN.
