Based on the study of present conditions of water and gas pollutant discharge for typical enterprises of fermentation, extraction, preparation and biological engineering pharmacy, we analyzed the technical and economic feasibility of pollutant discharge standard of the biological pharmaceutical industry in Jiangsu Province,and the suggestions for improvement of relevant treatment facilities were put forward.
