英文摘要：

Four measures of transportation efficiency,including accessibility, mobility, productivity and utility, are presented in this paper according to analysis of the implication of transportation efficiency. The advantages and disadvantages of the each n~easure are analyzed. Each measure is illustrated with an example drawn from the cases of highway network in Zhujiang Delta. The results clearly indicate that these measures for transportation efficiency are simple to calculate and easy to understand. Furthermore, it proves that the four measures can provide more direct, abundant and succinct information for planners, engineers and policymakers.
