Liying SUN was born in 1972. She received her Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from the Northeastern University, in 2009. Currently, she works as an associate professor at the Liaoning University of Technology. Her current research interests include power systems, nonlinear systems, and robust control. E-mail: lgsunliying@163.com. Jun ZHAO was born in 1957. He received his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Applications from the Northeastern University, in 1991. From 1992 to 1993, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the same University. Since 1994, he has been with the College of School of Information Science and Engineering, and is currently a professor. From February 1998 to February 1999, he was a senior visiting scholar at the Coordinated Science Laboratory, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. He has held the positions of research fellow and fellow in City University of Hong Kong and Australian National University, respectively.
