英文摘要：

Objective： To examine the protein and mRNA expression of inhibin α in various tissues of male rats. Methods： Immunohistochemistry and fluorescence quantitative PCR were performed to detect the protein and mRNA expression of in hibin α in the testis, epididymis, kidney, adrenal gland and liver of adult SD rats. Results： Inhibin α protein was expressed in the testis, epididymis, kidney, adrenal gland and pituitary gland but not in the liver. The mRNA of inhibin α was expressed as followed： kidney〉adrenal gland〉 testis〉epididymis. Conclusion： These findings suggest that inhihin α is not only ex- pressed in reproductive system but also in other tissues.
