A scheme to implement the two-qubit Grover quantum search algorithm based on two-atom interaction in a thermal cavity has been proposed. The photon-number-dependent parts in the evolution operator are canceled with the assistant of a strong classical field. Thus the scheme is immune to the thermal field. The present scheme is simple but may be a key step to scale more complex quantum algorithms.
