＂One Belt One Road＂ initiative is an important way to promote the exchange of China and other countries along the route. The paper calculates the spatial, economic, cultural and institutional distance between China and the countries along the route, and then by econometric test, finds that there is a significant correlation of the spatial, economic, cultural and institutional distance with the trade of China and the countries along the route. The paper uses the idea of the circle theory to divide the countries into four spheres. Comparing different spheres, it finds that the influence of spatial distance is more obvious in the second and third spheres, economic distance is more obvious in the third and fourth spheres, cultural distance is more obvious in the first and third spheres, and institutional distance is more obvious in the third spheres. According to the distance of circle, we should in turn push the co-production, infrastructure cooperation and trade liberalization in the order of circle, and according to the difficulty of the different distance reduction, we should in turn push infrastructure construction, economic win-win and cultural exchanges in the order of time, and at the same time, we should also respect institutional differences between countries.
