ARP virus is of great destructiveness. According to its attack principle, we offer a SNMP-based solution of active defense against ARP deception, which introduces switchboard condition monitoring and management into ARP defense system by using SNMP protocol innovatively, so as to discover and maintain malfunctioning switchboards as early as possible, ensure the stability of whole computer network. The solution is of low cost and high efficiency, suitable for large-scale networks especially.
