轮胎压力监测报警系统(Tire Pressure Monitoring System)(TPMS)是汽车安全领域重要电子装置,近年来已开始获得广泛应用,但传统的TPMS产品多为内置式,安装在轮胎内,安装和维护时需要拆卸轮胎造成很大不便,同时轮胎里的金属轮辋对位于胎内的压力传感器和无线发射装置有很强的屏蔽作用,信号衰竭很快,要保证信号传输到位于驾驶室内的接收器,必须提高发射功率,从而大大缩短发射器的电池使用寿命。针对这些技术问题,提出了一种新型外置直接式数字胎压监测系统,它的胎压监测节点核心器件MCU选用Infineon的专用压力处理器芯片SP30,该芯片内置MEMS压力传感器可通过外连气门芯直接测量胎内气压,再通过无线方式与上位接收器进行无障碍无线传输通信,避免了信号屏蔽,延长了电池和产品的使用寿命以及安装成本。给出了新型外置直接式TPMS产品的具体硬件设计、软件流程和通信协议。测试表明该系统的无线信号传输可靠、抗干扰能力强、轮胎位置识别准确、反应灵敏、安装与维护方便及组态灵活等特点、有着广泛的市场应用前景。
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has become an important automotive electronic safety device with extensive application for vehicles,but traditional TPMS is typically internal device. The sensor unit is placed inside of tires,which is hard to maintain and install. The metal wires nested inside of tire have strong shielding effect for sensor and wireless transmission,and the signal is largely attenuated because of that. In order to guarantee that the signal can reach the receiver placed on the driving panel,the transmission power must be increased thus seriously decrease the battery lifetime. To solve all these technical difficulties,a new type of external TPMS sensing device with direct pressure measurement has been developed. The key component of new TPMS is a MCU from Infineon SP30 with build-in MEMS pressure sensor. The tire pressure can be measured directly from valve stem connection and pressure data is transmitted wirelessly to the monitor on the driving panel. It avoids the signal shielding effect,extends the battery life and reduces maintenance cost. The specific circuit design,software and protocol for communication have been given in this paper. The system is demonstrated with identified characteristics such as very stable wireless transmission,good performance for anti-interference,accurate recognition for tire position,fast response time for pressure change,easy installation and maintenance,and very flexible for tire configuration,etc. The new TPMS device has big prospect for real application.
