As an effective method of multivariate analysis, structural equation model has been widely used in many fields. To better understand the research and application situation of domestic and foreign scholars, this paper selects the application and research hterature of structural equation model between 1990 to 2013. A summary of its application areas and research content leads to a review on develop- ment, status and limitations of application and research of structural equation model at home and abroad.
