为了有效地降低突发包的阻塞率和保证网络的服务质量,提出了模拟光突发交换(E-OBS)网络中一种偏置时间连续可变的基于窗口资源预留机制。在E-OBS核心路由器的控制信道(CC)上设置资源预留窗口,以此决定是否允许控制包为相应的突发包预留链路资源,并且给出了该机制下关于阻塞概率的近似方程式。仿真结果表明,适当增加资源预留窗口时间,有利于降低包的阻塞率;当网络负荷大于0.1时,相比无窗口资源预留机制和基于Erlang-B公式情形,本文机制下关于阻塞概率近似方程式情形得到包的阻塞率最小,从而提高整个OBS网络的性能。
To reduce the burst blocking probability and protect the quality of service(QoS) in optical brust switching(OBS) networks,a resource reservation mechanism based on window with continuous-time variable offsets in emulated-OBS(E-OBS) networks is proposed.The mechanism sets a resource reservation window in the control channel of the E-OBS core routers,and it will determine whether control bursts are allowed to reserve the link resource for data bursts.A fixed-point approximation equation based on the blocking probability in this mechanism is also proposed.Simulation results show that increasing the resource reservation window time will effectively reduce the burst blocking probability.Compared with the no-window resource reservation mechanism and the Erlang-B formula situation,the burst blocking probability of the fixed-point approximation equation is the least when the network load ρ〉0.1.So the mechanism can improve the performance of OBS networks.
