以美国奥本大学和我国福建师范大学地理科学专业为主要研究对象,从培养目标、核心课程、课程多样化、课程组织、教学模式和成绩评定等方面进行了比较研究,系统地总结了美国高校教学的特色与优势.在此基础上,提出优化我国课程体系,推行小班制讨论课,提倡思维训练为主的精品课堂,提高考核难度和改进考核方式等教学改革建议,以推进我国地理科学专业创新人才的培养.
Based on specific survey of undergraduate education in geographical sciences, investigated the educational objectives, principal curriculums, elective courses, course organization, teaching methods, course grading of Auburn University and Fujian Normal University. The feature and advantages of auburn university were systematically summarized. In order to absorb the experiences of the USA to promote the undergraduate education in geographical sciences of China, many suggestion, such as optimizing course systems, adopting class seminars, advocating thought training class, increasing the difficulty of course assignment and changing evaluation methods, was finally put forward.
