We employ the immersed boundary method to carry out the fully resolved direct numerical simulation of the gas-solid two-phase flows, and introduce the parallel algorithm and its parallel efficiency as well. We also investigate the influence of spatial resolution of spherical particle on the calculation precision. The parallel algorithm achieves higher calculation accuracy when the particle Reynolds number Rep=1~150, and the ratio of the particle diameter and computation grid is greater than 20.
