Ordered Cu2O nanowire arrays were fabricated by cathodic electrodeposition based on anodic alumina membrane. Their microstructures were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The Cu2O nanowires with the preferred [100] direction are dense, uniform, and the diameter is about 60 nm.
