‘Longjiao No.9＇is a new pepper F1 Hybrid developed by crossing inbred line ‘2009A27＇as female parent and inbred line‘2009A15＇as male parent. It is of early maturity. Its fruit is of goat-horn shape with green and wrinkle peel. The fruit is 28 cm in length,3.5 cm in width,and 0.3 cm in flesh thickness. The single fruit weight is 69 g. Its fruit tastes spicy and has good commercial quality. It is resistant to Phytophthora blight. It can yield 67.5 t·hm^-2. It is suitable for cultivation in protected and open fields in northwest China.
