A new stationary phase based on imidazole functionalized silica for high performance liquid chromatography is synthesized and characterize＆ In this paper, the reverse-phase interaction besides anion-exchange interaction of this phase is mainly discussed. Owing to the phase takes on some hydrophobic interaction, some organic compounds could be separated successfully by this stationary phase.
