Easy peeling,seedless and strong flavour are the advantages of Shatangju（Citrus reticulata Blanco cv,Shatangju）.It has highly market competitiveness in Guangdong province.The summer shoots growth of Shatangju would massively induce fruit abscission,it is the main restrict factor that affects production.Control summer shoots growth is one of the key culture techniques in order to obtain higher yields.Therefore,the techniques of increasing fruit retention by control summer shoots growth of Shatangju was reviewed,and some suggestions combined with actual production activity were given as well.It should have an important guiding significance for improving the techniques level of Shatangju.
