Evolution track of disaster risk reduction （DRR） strategy in Asia was analyzed from the aspects of cooperation in disaster reduction mechanism, with adaption to climate change and vulnerable groups in DRR and technology system. This was based main on achievements of five Asian ministerial conferences on disaster risk reduction. A trend of DRR strategy development was put forward from the perspectives of disaster risk adaptation, large-scale disaster risk reduction and community-based disaster risk reduction. It provides references to reveal clear disaster risk management ideas and to carry out scientific research and policy-making on DRR.
