在异质性贸易理论框架下,从理论上分析了产品创新对企业出口决策所产生的影响,得出实施产品创新的企业更能匹配国外消费者偏好,进而成为出口企业的概率更大。利用中国制造业企业微观数据,从多个层面证实了这一结论,且产品创新对不同要素密集度行业企业、不同所有权企业出口决策的影响程度存在显著差异。研究还得出,规模经济效应、生产率悖论、人口红利等是中国制造业企业对外出口所表现出的重要特征。
In the framework of heterogeneous trade theory,this paper theoretically analyzes the impact of product innovation on firms' export decision. The theoretical model suggests that,firms with more product innovations are more likely to be exporters. The empirical results confirm that,product innovation is particularly important to increase firm' propensity to become an export by the panel of Chinese manufacturing firms. In addition,the characteristics of Chinese enterprises export performance include scale economy effect,"productivity paradox"and demographic dividend.
