The western fault zone of South China Sea is a strike-slip fault system and consists of five typical strike-slip faults. It is the western border of the South China Sea opening. The formation of the system fault zone and it plays an important role in the Cenozoic evolution of the South China Sea. So the tectonic model experiments are done to study the orientation and motion of the fault zone.
