A new method of using the harmonic analysis of ANSYSTM, a kind of finite element tool, is proposed. It can simulate the displacements of gyroscope under the work mode frequencies. Using this method, the mechanical coupling properties between the work modes are simulated, which are also verified by test results. This method can also simulate the performance of gyroscope in the presence of asymmetrical imperfections, which is caused during the fabrication process. Simulated results also show that the doubly decoupled property helps suppress the asymmetrical imperfections.
