In the present study it was found that a new prescription of trivalent passivation solution were invented, passivation technology for zinc coating steel was developed. The film on zinc coating shown colorful feature. The mechanism of passivation process was explored. Lead acetate spot test, and salt spray experiment were performed to test its effect on zinc-coating steel. The corrosion resistance of zinc-coating steel under neutral salt spray conditions has been evaluated, the results shown it exhibited good protective ability against further corrosion attacks after 120 hours.
