The paper takes 390 wild cotton materials to study the salt tolerance in Jiangsu coastal solonchak agriculture demonstration base （Yancheng） saline soil in 2012, the results show that： in the soil salt concentration is moderate （0.3% ～ 0.5% ） case, 549 of 1174 materials seedling, 50 materials have good seedling under three repeats, 7 materials have the con- sistent seedling and reach over salt tolerance level.
