High energy consumption result in high cost and environmental pollution.What main content enterprise and scholars pay attention to is how to reduce energy consumption.It tested the energy consumption in the virtual environment and discussed the relationship among the energy consumption,CPU utilization,the number of tasks and the number of virtual machines.The experiment results showed that the gradual increasing in CPU utilization is accompanied by the declining the energy consumption value added,in other words,the higher the CPU utilization,the higher the energy efficiency.
