The phylogeny of America growing as a great power in ＂higher education＂ was accompanied with the vision of ＂ glory and dream＂ and ＂conjunctures and crisis＂. However, the reformation and development of America~ higher education took the masterstroke, which can be summarized as use the experience of other countries for reference, and then develop independent innovation with its own national conditions. The primary experiences of America could be summarized as following： Firstly, throw itself into social work under the logos of practical higher education. Secondly, the government takes willingness in legislative measures. Thirdly, pay much attention to the quality of education. Fourthly, pay equal attention to professional education and vocational education, while practicing general education.
