在系统查阅中南地区1996~2015年区域地质调查和专题研究资料的基础上,基于最新的大地构造划分方案,以古生代地质构造为重点,综合分析中南地区各时代形成的所有地层的基本特征、地层组合、时空变化规律及控制因素,对中南地区进行了综合地层区划。中南地区划分为秦岭一大别等4个地层大区、上扬子等10个地层区、罗霄等28个地层分区。对各个分区的岩石地层序列、沉积建造特征、地层间接触关系等进行了详细论述与综合分析,探讨了中南地区沉积盆地的演化过程。
A general scheme of stratigraphic regionalization of Central-south China is proposed on the basis of 1) a systematic review of regional geologic surveys and monographic studies published in 1996-2015, 2) the latest division of geotectonic units, 3) the geotectonics of Paleozoic, 4) the essential stratigraphic framework, stratigraphic association, and the temporal and spatial distribution of strata. Four stratome- garegions, ten stratoregions, and twenty eight stratosubregions are recognized in Central-south China. Base on the analysis of lithostratigraphic sequences, sedimentary facies, and stratigraphie contact relation- ships in each region, we develop a better understanding of basin evolution in Central-south China.
