2#ethylene equipment is the major part of 1 million capability expansion project in Maoming ethylene company. The key 640 kiloton capability compressor is the largest one China-made till now. In its first test run, the vibration beyond standard limit was encountered. Using high-speed online acquisition system （from Rockwell entek） to monitor multiple point vibration of the compressor in real time mode, the reasonable resolve methods was advised, so the machine starting-up successfully one-time.
