A high-quality experimental chemistry course ( Determination of vitamin C by fluorescence speetrophotometry) was designed and renewed through the reform practice of experimental teaching. In the experimental teaching, it was proved to be of value in training students" comprehensive and practical ability and in enlightening students" creative thoughts in their research activities. During the experiment process, students not only learn the method of orthogonal design and sample preparation, but also better understand and master the analysis principles, operation methods, qualitative and quantitative methods, and importance of fluorescence spectrophotometry in the analysis of natural compounds. A couple of years" running demonstrates that the high-quality experimental chemistry course is effective.
