Based on the brief summary about the research of water resources securit, an overview of water resources security measurement and evaluation is introduced.With the quantitative point of view,the assessment of water resources security is explored. This paper discussed to establish the safe evaluation target system of regional water resources to provide reference with quantitative study of water resources security in future.
