回顾20余年来我国矿物材料概念的研究与发展历程,矿物材料的概念与本质一直是矿物材料学的基本问题和研究热点之一。通过对国内有代表性观点的讨论与分析,并结合多年的教学科研实践经验,提出“矿物材料是以矿物为主要或重要组分的材料”的定义。在矿物材料中,矿物是集材料的组成与结构于一体的基元组分,不仅主要或重要组分是矿物,而且主要或重要物理、化学性能及使用效能也源于矿物。因此。矿物材料是以矿物为本质特征的材料。从矿物材料与其他材料关系看,尽管与无机非金属材料存在一定的交叉领域,但它并不简单等同于无机非金属材料,而是与无机非金属材料、金属材料和高分子材料等既有密切联系又有明显区别,具有自己特色和相对独立的一大类材料。

英文摘要:

Concept and essence of mineral materials have been one of fundamental question and research hot subject for the last 20 years. Through discussing and analyzing the representative viewpoint as well as our practices of research and teaching ,we propose that mineral materials are the materials which take minerals as main or important composition. In mineral materials, minerals are basic constituent united composition and structure Of materials,that is,not only the main or important compositions are minerals, but also main or important chemical-physical properties are originated from minerals. So, mineral materials is the materials which take minerals as its essential character. In so far as the relationship between mineral materials and other materials,although there are some of cross field between mineral materials and inorganic nonmetallic materials,it does not mean both of them are the same. In fact,mineral materials is such a category materials that have distinct features and relative independence itself ,as well as are close links with and clear different from inorganic nonmetallic materials,metallic materials and high polymer materials.
