In terms of the blood,whether or not it is the same thing in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine has been controversy for a long time.Through the investigation of literature about the blood during Qin and Han Dynasty,we found that the blood included three aspects in traditional Chinese medicine.We concluded that the ancient and modern Chinese medicine considered the blood prototype as a red warm liquid,which was same as the western medicine.The controversy might be caused by the difference in the cognitive model between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.
