Yang Chen was born in Liaoning Province, China, in 1983. He received the B.S. degree from School of Communication Engineering, University of Electronic Science & Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, in 2007. He is currently pursuing the M.S. degree with the School of Optoelectronic Information, UESTC. His research interests include optical communication, optical sensing and broadband communication. Yong Liu was born in Sichuan Province, China, in 1970. He received his Ph.D. degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2004. Afterwards, he stayed at the same university as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2003, he was awarded an IEEE/LEOS Graduate Student Fellowship. Since 2007, he worked in UESTC as a professor. He has (co) authored more than 120 journal and conference papers. These publications have been cited by SC! more than 350 times. He is an IEEE Senior Member. His research interests include ultra-fast optical signal processing and optical fiber sensing. Xiao-Li Zhou was born in Hubei Province, China, in 1985. She received the B.S. degree from School of Electric and Information Engineering in the North University of China, Taiyuan in 2007. She is currently pursuing the M.S. degree with School of Opto-Electronic Information, UESTC, Chengdu. Her research interests include optical communication, optical sensing, and broadband communication Li-Xun Zhang was born in Sichuan Province, China in 1968. He received the B.S. degree from the Southwest University of China, Chongqing, in 1989 and the M.S. degree from UESTC, Chengdu in 1997. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Optoelectronie Information, UESTC. His research interests include optoelectronic sensor, optical information processing. Zhi-Yong Dai was born in Sichuan, China, in 1970. He received the M.S. degrees in optics engineering from UESTC in 2001. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree with UESTC.
