The investigation on species resource of the vegetation in Jinzhong city indicates that there are 408 species, subordinating to 143 genera and 62 families. Based on the local situation, the concrete measures for comprehensive exploration and utilization of species resource include to establish collected area of excellent trees, to strengthen the base construction of seed garden, spike-collected nursery and seed source of mother tree forest, to designate protected area for rare wood resource management, to improve the file management of ancient trees and famous timbers, to enhance fundamental engineering construction and industry development, to establish tissue culture room for isolated preserving and culturing.
