Because maleic anhydride oligomer synthesized hy ion polymerization has special structure of many an- hydrides and many hydroxyls group, it can cross link with fiber under moderate conditions and reduce industry cost The finishing technology of maleic anhydride oligomer as non--formaldehyde finishing agent on silk,cotton fabric is studied in the paper. Through testing finishing parameters such as fabric quality--increase rate, wrinkle recovery angle ere, the fairly good finishing condition is established.
