噪声成像在地震预测研究中的现状与展望

近年来,随着噪声成像方法原理的成熟,其发展迅速,已经被众多学者所关注并广泛应用于地震研究领域.对两两台站记录到的长时间连续背景噪声进行互相关计算可以提取出台站间的经验格林函数,再利用层析成像方法得到不同时段地球内部的速度结构,以此来分析强震前后的波速差异,进而可以应用于地震预测研究.本文介绍了噪声成像的发展背景、方法原理及研究现状,分析其优缺点,并综述了其在地震预测研究中的应用与结果的可靠性,最后探讨其未来的发展方向与需要解决的问题.背景噪声在时间上稳定并可重复利用,有效地避免了传统地震成像因地震定位不精确和台站分布不均匀等因素所导致的不可重复性,有助于对地壳内部的波速变化进行实时监测,分析地壳内部区域应力状态的变化,将会促进地震预测方面的探索研究.

英文摘要:

Recently, with the development of ambient noise tomography method, the method has been concerned by many scholars and is widely applied in earthquake research. Firstly,calculating the cross-correlation function of two stations ambient noise signal, then, extracting its empirical Green ’s function.Secondly,we can obtain velocity structure of the earth ’s interior structure by tomography imaging method. Finally,analyzing the changes of underground medium wave velocity before and after the earthquake,and then,applying this method analyze the earthquake prediction research. This paper introduces the development background,the principle and research status of ambient noise tomography, analyzes its advantages and disadvantages, and summarize its application in earthquake prediction research and the reliability of the results,finally,discusses the future development direction and the problems need to be solved. Ambient noise is stable and reusable, effectively avoid the traditional seismic tomography for earthquake location inaccuracy and uneven distribution of stations caused by the unrepeatable,contribute to realize the changes of underground medium wave velocity earth’s crust for real-time monitoring,further analyze the changes of the crustal stress state, will promote the exploration of earthquake prediction research. Ambient noise tomography has been concerned and applied widely in earthquake research with the development of this method. Temporal velocity structure of the earth’s interior and its changes before and after the strong earthquakes can be obtained by calculating the cross-correlation function of two stations ambient noise signal and extracting its empirical Green ’s function using tomography imaging method. We review the background,theory,advantage and disadvantage of ambient noise tomography in this paper. Then we represent its application and reliability in earthquake prediction and discuss the future possible development trend and the problems needed to be solved of this method. In summary,
