The safety inspection of existing building curtain wall is a very serious and urgent engineering problem. The detail detection contents of existing building curtain walls of China and America are presented and compared, such as the test method of air permeability, watertightness, wind load resistance, and plane deformation of curtain wall. Finally, several key issues in the future are discussed, which can improve the safety inspection of existing building curtain wall.
