The assignment of study determines the direction and result of discipline construction fundamentally This paper argues that the research mission of ＂the Belt and Road＂ economics, is to reveal the law of development of the new international division of labor relations between countries along the Belt and Road. The basic status of cooperation in economic behavior tation of the Belt and Road initiative and the inherent requirements of the new globalization,the rich connoe need of remodeling global value chain are required to an in - depth study of the new international division of labor between countries along the Belt and Road to reveal the laws of development of it.
