Pen-based user interface has been more and more popular. A pen-based form design tool is proposed, which users can use digital pen to design forms naturally and effectively. Some related techniques about pan-based form design are depicted, including the design ofpen gestures, the process ofdigital ink and related recognition techniques. A prototype system is built based on these techniques. Elementary experiments on the prototype system show that the pen-based form design tool is more natural and effective than traditional form design tools.
