湖相烃源岩的形成受到湖盆演化过程中多种因素的控制,而湖盆的演化过程则是通过不同的3种湖泊沉积相组合记录下来的,这3种沉积相组合正是反映了3种不同的湖盆类型,湖盆类型划分模式便是在此基础上建立了一个烃源岩形成与沉积相组合的框架体系。这一体系对于油气勘探初期识别烃源岩层位有着重要的指示意义。中国的准噶尔盆地、松辽盆地和渤海湾盆地已经采用湖盆划分模式对各自烃源岩形成机制展开研究,并发现其主力烃源岩层位都是发育于平衡充填湖盆背景下。
The formation of lake-facies source rocks is controlled by various factors during the evolutionary process of lake-basins. The evolutionary processes of lake-basins are recorded by the combination of three types of lacustrine sedimentary facies, and the combination of these three types of sedimentary facies just reflect three different lake-basin types, based on which a frame system of source rock formation and sedimentary facies combination is es- tablished by the division pattern of lake-basin types. This system has an indicating significance of identifying source rock horizons during the early period of hydrocarbon exploration. This division pattern has already been applied in Junggar Basin, Songliao Basin and Bohai Bay Basin in China to investigate the formation mechanisms of their respective source rocks, and it is found that all their major source rock horizons are developed under the balancedfilling lake-basin background.
