Since soil mechanics experiment has large amounts of data, the work of processing data is very complicated. Taking critical moisture content experiment for example, experiment principle and means are explained, the analytical method of liquid and plastic-limit is deduced, and the process about how to calculate, plot and analyze data automatically using MATLAB is described. The data of a project are investigated using the proposed method. The result shows that the method is easy to process; from the data the normative and excellent double logarithmic graph can be obtained.
