增强型地热系统,作为一种新型的地热发电技术,可通过水力压裂的方式从干热岩中提取地热资源。而超临界CO2作为一种优良的传热流体,在用其替代水开采增强型地热系统中地热能的同时,还可以达到间接地质封存CO2的目的。在阐述CO2增强型地热系统的优缺点、模拟研究和经济潜力的基础上,总结了该研究领域的最新进展,并提出了进一步开展研究的相关建议,以期为CO2增强型地热系统的研究在中国的深入开展提供帮助。
With the increasing energy needs,geothermal energy as a low-carbon,renewable,and commercial resource is receiving more and more attention.Enhanced geothermal system as a new technology for geothermal power production can extract geothermal resources from hot dry rock through hydraulic stimulation or fracturing.Supercritical CO2 can be used instead of water as heat transmission fluid for the recovery of geothermal energy with simultaneous geologic storage of CO2.Relative studies have been performed since the novel concept was proposed in 2000.This paper reviews the advantages and disadvantages modeling studies and economic potential of the CO2-based enhanced geothermal systems,and summarizes the latest progress.In addition,the suggestions on the future research directions which should be further studied are provided.All these efforts are expected to provide help for the studies of CO2-based enhanced geothermal systems in China.
