Two species of stromatic pyrenomycetous fungi from the genus Nemarria （Xylariales, Xy- lariaceae） are reported to be new in China. Nemania aenea vat. macrospora （J.H. Mill. ） Y.M. Ju ＆ J.D. Rogers collected from Shaanxi Province, China is characterized by its ascospores with inconspic- uous germ slit and Ostioles darker than the stromatal surface; Nemania plumbea A.M.C. Tang, 3ee- won ＆ K.D. Hyde collected from Sichuan Province, China is distinguished by its gray to black stro- mata and ascospores with short germ slit on the convex side. Specimens are deposited in the Fungari- um of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences Institute of Tropical Bioscience and Bio- technology （FCATAS）. The morphological descriptions and photographs of the species are provided based on the collections in China.
