ABAT基因是γ-氨基丁酸(γ-amino butyric acid,GABA)分解过程中关键酶γ-氨基丁酸转氨酶(γ-amino butyric acid transaminase,GABAT)的编码基因,不仅参与神经递质的代谢,而且对其他组织中的物质合成、细胞功能的发挥也起着不可或缺的作用。ABAT基因还参与许多疾病的发生和发展,包括精神系统、消化系统以及肿瘤性疾病。本文主要对ABAT基因在人类疾病中的研究进展作一综述。
γ-amino butyric acid transaminase(GABAT)encoded by ABATgene is the key enzyme in the process of decomposingγ-amino butyric acid(GABA).ABAT gene not only participates in the neurotransmitter metabolism,but also plays an indispensable role in material synthesis and cell function in other organizations.ABAT gene is involved in the initiation and progression of many diseases,including the nervous system diseases,digestive system diseases and tumors.This article mainly reviews the research progress of ABATgene in human diseases.
