Through VAR model, the relationship between GDP growth rate and government budget expenditure on health growth, social health expenditure growth, and resident personal hygiene expenses growth are respectively analyzed. The results show that con- tinuous steady growth of the economy can not only enhance government and social health expenditure, but also reduce resident personal hygiene expenses to avoid squeezing the disposable income of residents, and to improve life quality of residents. The influence of GDP growth on government budget expenditure on health indicates that the fundamental way is the development of economy and strengthening economy.
