本文结合声光可调谐滤波器(AOTF)和光突发交换(OBS)技术构建了基于固定发射调谐接收机制(FTTR)的面向业务的光波长可调谐环型传送网.并对采用令牌轮询协议(RR/TOKEN)的光波长可调谐OBS环网在性能方面进行了计算机仿真研究,深入分析了最大突发包长度以及传输距离等参数对它的影响.
A services-oriented Optical Burst Switched (OBS) ring network with wavelengths tenability is presented in this paper.It employs the Acoustic-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) to realize the Fixed Transmitter and Tunable Receiver (FTTR) scheme.In addition,the effect of the max burst length and the transmission distance on the performance of the OBS ring network with Round-Robin Token protocol (RR/TOKEN) is investigated by computer simulations. From the simulation results, two conclusions can be drawn. One is that the maximum burst length has a great influence on the network throughput and the average edge-toedge delay of the packets. With the increase of the maximum burst length, the network throughput will go higher and the average edge-to-edge delay of the packets will go lower. The other is that the increase of the transmission distance of the OBS ring network will make the performance of the network much worse than usual.
