对于转基因技术而言,信息不对称是限制消费者购买的关键因素。本文根据信息不对称程度,将转基因产品分为经验型、信任型以及搜寻型三种类型,通过代表商品示例进行了问卷调查。统计结果验证了这种分类方法的合理性,并指出消费者对搜寻型转基因产品普遍能够接受,但对经验型和信任型转基因产品较为敏感。在支付意愿方面,搜寻型转基因产品的折价与溢价率都较低,而经验型和信任型转基因产品的折价率很高。本文在此基础上,探讨了不同种类产品可能的市场策略和监管办法,为转基因产业发展提供了科学依据。
Information asymmetry is the main limiting factor when investigating the purchase of product with genetically modified technology.In this paper,genetically modified products are divided into three types as Experience,Credence and Search product according to different levels of information asymmetries.Questionnaire is conducted through representative specimens.Statistical result verifies reasonableness of the classification approach mentioned before.The result also shows that Search product is generally accepted by consumer while Credence and Experience ones should be treated with care.According to the data of willingness to pay,discount and premium of Search product are relatively lower than that of Credence and Experience ones.On the basis of above conclusions,this paper proposes possible market strategies and regulatory approaches of different kinds of products in order to provide scientific support to the development of genetically modified industry.
