Reverse logistics has become a hot research field because of environment protection, legislation, and corporate operation. The new development in the research field of reverse logistics since 2001 is reviewed. The research field of reverse logistics includes the study on reverse network structure design, inventory control, reverse distribution, and production planning. Finally, the characteristic of the new development in the reverse logistics research from the same year is summed up and the future research direction of reverse logistics is provided.
