Cell penetrating peptides （CPPs）, a class of peptides with a remarkable capacity for membrane transportation, can deliver a large variety of biological cargoes and induce the biological effects. Some existing anticancer drugs due to their poor solubility, low efficacy, high toxicity and multi-drug resistance, thus affect the effects of cancer treatment. The current research progresses of cell penetrating peptides enhancing the anticancer effect were reviewed. New ideas were put forward for seeking efficient delivery system of anticancer drugs.
