Focusing on cultivating excellent talents and in order to make full use of the advising and direction of instructors and take advantage of the subjectivity and activity of students, the excellent GPIO （General Purpose Input/Output） experimental project has been developed on the basis of the STM32F10x microcontroller from two aspects： experimental content and experimental teaching. To im- prove the ability of students manipulating the experimental devices, arouse the self-learning and self- study interests of students and train and widen the creative thinking of students. A good teaching effect has been achieved during the implementation of the excellent GPIO experimental project.
